Aging Resources of Douglas County is a nonprofit organization providing services, resources, and information that allow older people to stay independent and in their own homes as long as safely possible. This is a primarily volunteer staffed organization.

Programs that are provided by volunteers:
-Transportation
-Chore and Handyman
-Homemaker Help
-Companionship
-Grocery Shopping
-Yard Work

Resource Navigation programs which connect people to information, tools, and services such as:
-Call Center (Specialists will answer questions and give referrals to assist callers in a range of topics)
-Care Guidance (Assistance with developing an action plan to address the individuals needs)
-Resource Guide (can be viewed online or mailed)

Support for these services is provided, in part, by Older Americans Act funds provided by DRCOG’s Area Agency on Aging.
