Each county in the Denver region has a human services department with a Family and Adult Division. The older adults/seniors department offers the following services:
- Adult Protection Services
- Food Assistance
- General Assistance

Staff also assist eligible individuals with applications for Home Care Allowance and Old Age Pension. Medical assistance is available through Health First Colorado is public health insurance for older adults who qualify.
