The Colorado Respite Coalition (CRC) is an allied group of families and community partners who have joined together to strengthen and preserve Colorado families who are caring for individuals with special needs by supporting current respite care options and facilitating the development of new, safe, affordable, interactive and stimulating respite care choices.

Services Offered:
-Assist families in finding respite care services and resources in the state
-Spearhead efforts to develop and establish new respite programs and identify sustainable respite care services in several parts of the state
-Build a network among providers and human service organizations to maximize respite services
-Educate state agency staff, caregiver groups, for profit and non-profit organizations and policy makers about benefits of respite care and how it preserves the physical and mental health of family caregivers, keeps families and marriages together and prevents abuse and neglect and costly out-of-home placements
