Adams County Adult Protective Services (APS)

Adult Protective Services programs are located in county departments of social services/human services, which receive and respond to reports of mistreatment and self-neglect of at-risk adults.

As a result of the report, APS can provide protective services which may include:
- Counseling and casework services
- Referrals to community service providers
- Arrangement of appropriate services
- Assistance with applications for public benefits
- Initiation of probate proceedings
