BRIEF: Greeley Public Works announces construction on 10th Street bike path

Sept. 20--Starting Monday, Greeley crews will begin replacing the deteriorated asphalt bike path and sidewalk along 10th Street.
Along the south side of 10th Street between 47th and 38th avenues, the city will completely replace the old dilapidated asphalt path with fresh, new, smooth, Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant concrete path. Work begins Monday, Sept. 24 and continues through Oct. 19.
During construction, some business access will change as concrete crews work along the bike path. Detour signs will clearly mark alternate routes when construction work requires any change in access.
The work will help improve cyclist and pedestrian safety, and greatly improve an important part of Greeley's transportation infrastructure, according to a Greeley Public Works news release.
