The Chronicle Express - 4/4/2018

If you are 65 years old or older, or are certified blind and/or disabled, the S2AY Network's Facilitated Enrollers can answer questions you may have about the various health insurance programs offered under Medicaid and help you apply for coverage.

Our Facilitated Enrollers can help you complete a Medicaid application for any of the following Medicaid Programs:

· Medicaid - Public health insurance for low-income individuals. Medicaid may also provide Nursing Home and Long Term Care coverage and can be secondary coverage if you are on Medicare.

· Medicaid Excess Income/Resource Program(s) - A Medicaid program for people with income and/or resources over the allowable Medicaid levels. Also referred to as "Spend Down."

· Medicaid Buy-In for Working People with Disabilities - A Medicaid program for working people with disabilities who are under 65 and who may be over the allowable income and resource limits for Medicaid.

· Medicare Savings Programs (MSP): A program that can help people who are enrolled in Medicare to pay monthly premiums, lower out-of-pocket costs and receive prescription assistance through Extra Help.
