BRIEF: Man found safe after walking away from St. Ann nursing home

Nov. 13--UPDATE: An endangered silver advisory has been cancelled after Gerald Pleasant was found safe, St. Ann police said.

PREVIOUS STORY: St. Ann police are searching for a man with dementia who was reported missing after walking away from an assisted living home Sunday morning.

The police issued an endangered silver advisory for Pleasant, 71, who is described as a black man, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 135 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a tan jacket, black shirt, blue jeans and black and white shoes, police said.

Pleasant lives at the St. Ann Assisted Living Center at 10441 International Plaza Drive.

Anyone who sees Pleasant or has any information should call 911 or the St. Ann Police Department at 314-427-8000.
