BRIEF: Nutrition is free breast cancer seminar topic

May 29--Therapeutic nutrition intervention for the prevention and treatment of breast cancer will be the topic of a free Breast Cancer Network of Western New York educational seminar at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the network's center, 3297 Walden Ave. in Depew.
The seminar will feature Mary Jo Parker, a registered dietitian nutritionist, nutrition therapist and consultant.
It will be the second of 10 seminars funded through a state Department of Health grant to promote good health among breast cancer survivors.
