Support Group Set in Southbury

SOUTHBURY - The Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and The Watermark at East Hill will host a Caregiver Support Group on Wednesday, May 25, designed to provide the caregivers of those living with Alzheimer's or other memory-related disorders with updated information, emotional support and problem solving solutions related to providing care.

The group meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the last Wednesday of every month at the continuing care retirement community, located at 611 East Hill Rd.

The support group will be led by Denise Julian, director of health services at The Watermark at East Hill. She will help educate caregivers on basic information and skills needed to provide quality care for people living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of memory loss.

The group is free of charge and open to the public, however reservations are required.
