Sentinel, The (Carlisle, PA) - 3/5/2015

March 05--NORTH MIDDLETON TOWNSHIP -- A Fayetteville couple was arrested Wednesday after police say they stole wedding bands and other jewelry from residents of the Church of God home as they slept.

North Middleton Township police have charged Laneice Baker, 33, and her fiancé Dwayne M. Banks, 32, with felony counts of receiving stolen property and conspiracy for thefts police say took place from last November to February while they were employed as certified nurse assistants at the home. Baker is also facing theft charges, according to reports.

Township police, with the assistance of Church of God home staff, were able to identify wedding bands, rings and other jewelry which police say Baker and Banks had pawned in Fayetteville. The couple was transported from Chambersburg State Police Barracks to Cumberland County Prison for arraignment on the charges.
