Oct. 21--YAKIMA, Wash. -- Aiming to increase awareness of resources for families and providers, the Alzheimer's Association of Western and Central Washington will be holding an educational conference here Nov. 4.

The conference will feature sessions for family caregivers to learn how to navigate the changes and challenges of caring for a loved one with dementia. For physicians and medical professionals seeking continuing medical education credits, there is a separate evening program.

The community conference will be held at the Yakima Convention Center at 10 N. Eighth St., from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Attendees will be able to attend four sessions, and lunch is included.
