BRIEF: 'Seagull' group for disabled gets new name

Aug. 26--Seagull Industries, celebrating its 35th year serving people with disabilities, will unveil a new name, Seagull Services, as well as a new logo and plan for the future, at a public event and continental breakfast at 8 a.m. Wednesday at its headquarters, 3879 Byron Drive, West Palm Beach. The institution, founded in 1979, offers job and vocational training and residential care and operates a charter school, Seagull Academy for Independent Living (SAIL). Its new look includes a new motto: "Enriching lives, erasing barriers, helping people soar." Call (561) 842-5814.
