Adult Protection Services

Adult Protective Services also serves individuals who lack sufficient understanding or capacity to make or communicate responsible decisions concerning their affairs.
Council on Aging

Homemakers

Adult Protection

Provides services to adults age 18 and older who are susceptible to mistreatment such as abuse, neglect, exploitation or self-neglect.
Family and Adult Services

Provides Aid Needy to the blind and Disabled (AND), burial assistance, Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), employment services, Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP), food assistance (food stamps), general assistance/homeless, grandparent/kinship (relatives who raise children other than their own), housing/eviction assistance, Long Term Care (LTC), Medicaid eligibility, old age pension, protection to adults/elderly, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) and veteran services.
Office on Aging

Seeks to enhance the quality of life for Denver’s aging population. The Office on Aging offers to increase community awareness of services and programs available to older adults. It is the goal of this office to make Denver the best place to live and grow older.

Senior Program Services

Meets twice a week at the Community Center for group luncheons, fun and informative programs, and birthday and holiday parties. Also provides transportation to doctor and dentist appointments, and hosts a group trip to a local grocery store each Friday. Meals on Wheels delivery is also available five days a week for homebound folks.
